CFA webinar: RedLAC presents its approach to EFs Impact on Biodiversity Conservation in PAs

Friday, Mar 1st 2013

The CFA webinar held last February 20th was presented by Camila Monteiro (Funbio), Allen Putney (independent consultant) and Paquita Bath (Aligning Visions).

The presented methodology emerges from the work developed by the RedLAC Impact Monitoring Working Group, which debated the theme in 2012 with the support of experts and case study analysis.

The methodology was designed to consider relevant costs, aggregation and attribution issues and allows Funds to consider results in the PA, EF and RedLAC levels. Focused on biodiversity conservation in PAs, the methodology will be tested throughout 2013 by eight RedLAC EFs, each covernig one PA in their country.

For more information, check the webinar presentation, the RedLAC Manual on the subject, as well as the RedLAC Capacity Building Project workshop page.
